Prof. Beatrix Volc-Platzer, MD is a dermatologist (specialist for skin and venereal diseases) in Vienna.

From 2001 – 2019 Prof. Beatrix Volc-Platzer, MD led the dermatology department of the Donauspital/ SMZ Ost (today: Klinik Donaustadt) of the city of Vienna.

In 2012, Prof. Beatrix Volc-Platzer, MD founded the Karl Landsteiner Institute for Paediatric Dermatology.
